Is it just me, or did the forum just crash?

The title says it all.
For a while (didn't record exactly how long), the forum wasn't just slow... it died. Every time I tried to connect to the site, it didn't just take 20 minutes to say that it failed, it immediately said, "it can't connect to the server, 'giantitp.com'." Was there any particular reason for this, or just an extension of the increasing server load we've had these past few weeks or months?

If the technical gurus want to add more to this post they can. But we don't need a list of all the people who noted the problem, so I'm going to close this. :smallamused:
