Okay.

1. If he's a big ball of planar string, can't the gods just get a big pair of scissors?

2. If he's a scribble, what about an eraser?

Heh.

It's very similar to, "If a tree kills alone in a forest, does it make a sound?"

1. The fact that the gods basically played tug of war with the strings without them breaking, seems to imply that they're indestructible.

2. You can't erase crayon, sily. :smalltongue:

1. Whoever made the gods can make a pair of scissors, it's alot easier than making new gods.

2. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

1. Not necessarily. I can not break barbed wire by pulling on it, but with a pair of pliers ....

2. Just get a bucket of white paint.

If the snarl is a tangle of potential reality coiled in around itself, maybe you can't chop it up without having the whole web of reality fall apart?

They could tie the threads back together.

The Gods can destroy the snarl with scissors, except that would require them to get close enough to the thing to let it destroy them. Thus, they don't want too :P

Well, if it was a big enough pair of scissors they could be a long way away.

The Snarl could also destroy the scissors.

The gods should just use their Mystic Eyes of Depth Perception to attack his weak point for massive damage.
