Here is my guinea pet pig. He is cute and fuzzy.

So who else owns one of these wonderful rodents?

My family has three currently, and we've owned three others in the past. I'll post pictures once I have some good ones.

My friend has two... that bred :smalleek: So now she has about a half-dozen little baby guinea pigs running around.

I recommended that she use them in her /incredibly delicious/ specialty Korean barbeque. :smalltongue:

EDIT: In case anyone was worried, we didn't end up barbecuing them:smallfrown:

That is what they were originally used for :smallwink:

Actually, guinea pigs make up 90% of the worlds fat reserves.

I miss my rat... her name was Pie.

She was awesome. Friendly, curious, and would sit on my shoulder without moving. Would kinda freak people out sometimes (some people are afraid of rats for some reason).

Also never owned a guinea pig...thought you were maybe talking about taking scientific studies for payment as a living. I know a few people that do that.

Elliot's (up there) is a male, but he's quite active for one. He's like Pie, he likes my shoulder (and my ear...with his tongue), he likes people and is very friendly.

Notice how perfectly shaped they are for fitting in a seaweed or egg roll wrapper...:smalltongue:

Except... way bigger. Ahem...
Guinea Pigs<<Rats!

They do. Seriously. Anyway, I had a Guinea Pig (Chumley) who passed away a few years ago, and has provided me with the perfect username. I have two babies, Coco and Bandit, who are about five months old and about nine inches long. . And to all of you who believe Guinea Pigs to be mere food sources, I recommend you try barbecued rat. Less fatty.
