I can put up frozen ones if people want, but that's part of the reason for having this scrolls linked. That way people can see the adults and frozen hatchlings, and we can post the ones which are still growing.

BTW, I have bred my two female dragons in an effort to continue having eggs available for the new dragon collectors. I will drop them off for adoption in about a day, I think that's how long it takes before you can do that. From reading the forum earlier today, it appears that people who have joined only recently are finding it impossible to get any eggs due to the fog. So, people with breedable dragons are helping out those without...

Well, you can freeze them if they are getting close to running out of time, and still don't have butt wings, to keep them from dying. Or once you have adults of their color, you can freeze them to collect the hatchlings of that color.

You may have found this unsuccessful during the past few days, due to the fact that the site is down =/ The page (enterance) which says something like a fog obscures vision, and deep snores can be heard is where you get eggs...

when the site is up and running... I heard rumors that they're replacing the sprites, so it could be worth the wait...

Some of the current speculation is that it has something to do with Easter, and hiding eggs...

Keep checking out the site though, as many people are breeding their eggs to continue to provide some for new collectors. I have two that I will be dropping in there as soon as it lets me...

try putting it in a spoiler, images can be bigger if spoilered, I'm not familiar with any eggs/dragons which are too big... was it a gold dragon? (I think those might be biggest...) Once your dragon is grown up, just have a link to your scroll, and get more eggs!

This (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/announcement.php?a=39) will explain why images are being removed. I know the gold and the paper are too large with the new restrictions. I think the best option with adults is to link the scroll, then they can all be seen in one place.

mah, I only have one female, and it wont breed... I hope they get the eggs back soon... maybe it has to do with the dragon, if you try having a stone dragon breed with anything, that might not really work, or a plant dragon, or whatever... (I also sometimes get that they refuse to go near each other...)

BTW, in regards to Wadledos possible Dragon game, would we use these dragons or core ones? Anyone given a thought to statting these dragons? Most of them can be compared straight to the standard Chromatic and Metallic dragons (plus a few Planar dragons), but some, like the Mint, Purple, Twin and Paper are a little trickier.

Hmm... that would be pretty interesting... I sort of like the core ones, but I don't think these dragons really fit it (they would be either too powerful or not powerful enough in comparison to the core dragons) so I think it would be better to redo all the dragons so certain spells and things could fit for all the different dragons...

I seem to be the only one who ever uses the list tag, so I can't let it feel left out.

* Flame wars are bad.
* AFAIK, the mods do know what's going on, just not the timeframe (Which isn't really known at all.) Although I probably shouldn't say that, because now everyone will be bugging the mods for info.
* The fog will indeed go away (eventually).
* (Again AFAIK) everything is going fine with my plans. I'm not trying to overcome some technological roadblock or waiting for sponsors.
* FIRST Robotics Season is bad for free time.
* While I'm on AFAIK's, no, the world is not ending.
* Flame wars are really bad.

EDIT: A note on the new egg times: I think they are coming up every ten minutes or so, but there are only a few at a time, maybe three to six. Also, there appear to be at least three new egg types: two dinos ( I think, these are spotted ones and there appear to be both yellow and blue) and a new glowy one (unless it is just one of the metallics with a new description).

Blue, I wouldn't sig it yet...in fact, you may want to wait an extra day or two. My paper one was VERY delicate, and my first one died even though I'd treated it the same as ALL my others. I'd wait two to three days at least before sigging a paper. Just in case.

*clicked* And it doesn't appear sick anymore. I've found that if I view my eggs before I post them somewhere, they will show as sick.

By the way, TJ was taking the site down for awhile to move the server again. Posted earlier:

The site will be temporarily down, hopefully for a few hours at most, as I transfer the site to a new server provider. The current plan I have does not have enough RAM to sustain the site, but upgrading would mean paying quite a bit more, and I'd be paying for disk space and bandwidth that I don't need. Instead, I plan on switching providers to one that allows me to customize the amount of RAM, space, and bandwidth I have, meaning I'm not paying for what isn't used.

This will hopefully eliminate lag, but I can't offer any guarantees. At the very least, it will improve the situation.

I think part of your problem with the eggs that died was the ratio of views to unique views.

Dragon Research Institute
Press Release

There have been some major changes at the Dragon Research Institute, including a complete overhaul of the entire layout.

As enough research has been conducted to ascertain an accurate hypothesis, many of the pages were no longer required and were thus removed. It is now sorted alphabetically and you can now find everything you need to know on a single page.

The Dragon Research Institute was working with the theory that there were 4 stages of egg cracking. This has recently been proven incorrect and it is now believed ther there are 5 stages of egg cracking.

The Dragon Research Institute has collected samples of every uncracked egg and many cracked eggs for all 16 known species of standard dragons (counting silver male and females as one species) as well as a complete collection of samples of both stages of the hatchlings.

Samples of Dinos have also been collected, with both stages of hatchlings for all 4 known dinos, as well as eggs for 3.

You can't fit five eggs in your sig because there's four image limit to the signature. No matter what you do, you can't get over that limit. Spoilering them doesn't help.

There's been some talk on their forums about hybrid-breeding (ex. Red/Fire + Green/Earth = Glass Dragon, etc.), so that might be coming up sometime in the future. However, it hasn't been implemented yet.
