I'm new to Inkscape (Not to mention OotS style!) and I was just wondering how I'm doing.

Making these things is kinda fun. Anyway, please tell me what you think.

Make arms/legs round not straight. The belts dont extend out of the body.

Other than that it is a good 1st try.

oh, and use photobucket.

That's a good start.

A couple of hints:

On presentation:
- Shrink the image to a manageable size. Avatars are 112x112 px, but larger images can of course be used, but this one is too large to be properly appreciated.
- Use IMG tags to make the image appear without a link (for this you definately need to shrink the image)

On drawing:
- As always, start by looking at the Giant's art. Try to copy that, unless you are bent on creating your own style. Even if you are, copying accurately will increase your skill.
- Lines: Use th Bezier tool to create curves - they'll be way smoother. Also use thicker lines. Much thicker - too hin lines make an image look a bit shoddy, especially if they are not smooth.
- Bodies: Yours are a bit thin, but I expect that can be explained by the mangaesque theme of the image.

Keep at it - you'll be even better if you practice intensely.

Thanks for the tips, Bayar and Sampi.

On the belts though, I thought having them extend from the body would show thickness, but it does look a little silly now that I think about it.
