When O-Chul was first frozen, he was in a position of holding a sword, ready to strike. Now, his hands are by his sides. Maybe he isn't so stiff.

Or maybe he was unfrozen and then Xykon froze him again?

No, no, Bisected8, you're in the wrong thread. This is the thread for inarticulate expressions of astonishment (or overly verbose minimodding). You want one of the other three threads on the topic if you wish to put forward reasoned arguments on the topic.

It's been three months since Xykon froze him, so the duration of the Xykon's paralizing touch must of worn of by now

'S permanent unless Xykon dismisses it. But you can't interrogate a guy who's too paralyzed to talk anyway.

But Xykon bet that he'd be alive, so he probably removed it

He can't be paralyzed now -- if he were, there'd be nothing to bet on.

I've been saying that for years but nobody seems to listen. common sense, people.

I think they're betting on what happens AFTER he drops. They aren't looking for a struggle, just what the shark is interested in doing.

Personally, I think it's just a nod to March Madness. Any takers?

No, there is no interest in just wacthing a shark eat a man. The victum needs to be able to scream for the villians to enjoy it.

Also Xykon thinks that
"nothing's funnier than false hope." (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0448.html) O-chul might stand a chance of just barely escaping with his life, but that wouldn't end his captivity, and would really just prolong it. O-chul's doomed struggles would have to be just hilarious to Xykon.

Where's the hope if he's paralyzed?
