Um, why's it so important that Dorukan was a man, regarding the creature clause of the spell?

Basically, men (when they get obsessed about something) tend to way overdo it.

Look at Football (or substitute sport-of-choice).
Look at modifying cars.

Look at basically any male passtime, and you will find lots of people that do it waay to seriously.

Also happens to women, but is far less noticable (my wife has a gazillion knitting patterns, but then she is far from the norm, and it is just one vice. I, on the other hand, obsess about just about everything I do...)
