how do i upload a custom avatar?

i just joined the site, even though i've already read all the current Oots lol, but i don't know how to put a custom avatar on my profile. Can someone please help me? i have no problem creating them, but what do i have to do to get them online? :smalleek:

Use an image hosting site, like image shack (http://www.imageshack.net/) or photo bucket. (http://photobucket.com/)

And once you upload your image via one of the site's bluish_wolf mentioned, click on "Quick Links" in the upper right corner of any page on the forums. Go down to "Edit Options," and then scroll to the bottom. Just enter your URL in the box there, and make sure to click "Custom Avatar" and input the correct width and height. Just click save, and you're set!
