This is one of (if not the) the coolest thing I've ever seen!

I've got slightly mixed feelings about it though, considering the advances are made possible by the military, but whats done is done and the potential benefits to people's lives are too great to be ignored.

You know that the military is doing research for civilian use, right? I'm actually dreading the point where it gets out of the hands of the government, and gets into the hands of corporates. When you get your iArm, you'll want it back in other hands.

Cybernetics are always cool, though. Always.

Great, now Steve Jobbs will get his hands on one of these, put a headphone jack in it and paint it white.

But seriously, I would give my right arm to have one of these in say...2020 when it will be even more awesome.

I fully support this development, if only because you could theoretically hack into someone's arm. Hey, if you can hack into someone's heart (http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2008/s2190073.htm), the rest of the body has to follow!

I cant wait until they develop arms that fit in with the rest of the person, like Luke Skywalker arms. It would be very helpful for amputees when fitting in...

Heh, great Valentine's idea. Make this someone's desktop.

"Oh baby, I wish I could hack my way into your heart as easily as I hacked into your hard drive."
