Ah, Earthbound, a great game with only two drawbacks: ridiculously small inventory and a battle system that gets annoying very, very quick. They make it only slightly less enjoyable, though.

I know for a fact that any game from the Mother series will never be released on the European Virtual Console. NoE has said themselves that they won't be putting games that haven't reached Europe on the virtual console.

Yes, that means no possibility of:

Mother series
Chrono Trigger
Super Mario RPG
