I'm playing a Knight/Dwarven Defender (and the DMs campaign includes a lot of giants. I'm indestructible). The DM is letting me get rid of trap sense or whatever it is that gives me AC vs traps, in favour of some other small circumstantial bonus. Does anyone have some suggestions?

How about a bonus to resist bull rush, overrun, and trip attempts while in a defensive stance?

See if he'll let you keep one of your Knight class features progressing, like Knight's challenge or their defense/shield stuff. That would be teh awesome, IMO.

Embrace the Bull rush! Imagine a Dwarven Defender who had a cohort specifically to move him about while he was in a defensive stance by bull rushing.

Umm, don't you drop out of stance when moved? Voluntarily or not?

I think that's only Stone Dragon stances.

I asked. He bit the kibosh on that idea because it was teh awesome. He wants something situational and teh lamo like whatever that ability is called.

How about a single favored enemy.
Maybe giants?
