Nice tries. But we have a thread for Showcasing OOTS Style artwork: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37646&page=61

They're pretty good. Some things though:

-First off, might wanna censor the T-shirt for the boards
-Second of all, what are the buckles on the coat for? They just seem to be standing there.
-The shoes look very odd.
-Some line thickness inconsistencies: try to make most lines, except for detail lines, generally the same thickness.
-The mouth is weird. Try to OOTS mouths instead of just two lines to look like an open mouth.
-This is a matter of personal taste, but I think the eyes are a little big.
-The hands look a little weird. Too small, I think, and too thin.
-In the bow and arrow one, the arrow is huge and the bow is tiny. Also, the arrow needs to be thicker.
-Don't squish the head for the dwarf. Also, his beard and mustache looks a bit odd.
-The poses are a little static.
-The sleeves seem a little thin and weird.

And that's just for starters. Don't get me wrong, they're actually quite good. But you've still got some work to do.

Also, this doesn't really warrant its own thread. Try posting things like this here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37646&page=61) in the future, there are plenty of helpful critics and praisemonkeys.

Keep at it.

Sneak pretty much hit the nail on the head with those advices; I'd like to add one thing:

It seems that you were going for the OotS style, or at least something similar. While it's a good thing to add some of your own touch as you did, it is my opinion that something in between styles isn't exactly the most favorable thing to do. Why? Well in your case for instance, "fatter" limbs instead of OotS style lines make the avatars look bulky - using the OotS anatomy is best for starters to make sure your creations don't look distorted and funny. Don't worry, adding some clothes will add enough substance to OotS avatars that may look a bit plain at first. I'm saying this because I see potential in these, and I can't help the feeling that they would look much better if you used the original OotS body part proportions.
