Just wanted to be the self-righteous boyscout and point out that one version of edit is delete.
Just press edit
look above the text (text to be edited). The rest is self evident.

Actually...I do believe that you cannot delete a new thread. ie, the first post in a thread.

I do belive you are correct. Darn. I musta "tipped" like a dozen people over the months I been here that posts (and theads) can be deleted.
