My mom just asked me what I was doing on the computer. So I told her. "I'm on two forums, and one is attacking the other."

4chan just staged a pointless raid on AtheistNation.
It's still going on.

Even though I don´t know both, and am not an Atheist, I´m siding with Atheistnation.

Which rules one and two are you referring to?

Which rules one and two are you referring to?

They're the same as rule #1 and #2 of Fight Club.

EDIT: Those being, respectively:

You do not talk about Fight Club, and
you DO NOT talk about Fight Club.

I believe he's referring to the rules of the forums.

Aha. I wasn't sure if it was forum rules or posting rules.

Rule #34? Hmm, probably true in this case too.

Ah, don't forget rule 42-

"All persons more than a mile high shall leave the courtroom immediately."

Seems pretty surreal to me. Two insubstantial entities, existing only as information, attacking each other, with people on the sidelines clucking their tongues and betting cookies on the outcome. Very Alice in Wonderland.

Surreal?

Maybe, if you think of it that way. Sounds pretty lame and pointless for anyone acquainted with the internet. Or were you referring to your mom's reaction as being such?

You remind me of a group that came to a local larp some time ago. They looked all the big bad barbarian type, fur cloak and leather as well as big axes. Plus they had sharp tooth (prop caps) and red eyes. So the big end battle comes down (the event had a big battle at the end of each event, always a good way to end it) so we expected them to wade into the battle screaming bloody battle cries all the way, they had done that quite a few times before. So the final battle starts, the paladin line on the front is broken en the enemies (can remember what they were) swam into town. The barbarians run screaming into the tavern, come back out carrying a few tables put them down on the sides pull out a lot of crossbows we hadn’t seen yet and start shooting anything that moves. They later commented, “hey were not THAT dumb.”

So back on topic, this indeed goes against forum rules. 4chan has a tendency to attack others if I remember correctly they recently did the scientology site.
