How do temporary ability increases affect spellcasters when it comes to prepared spells, access to spell levels, and extra spells per day? I assume you lose any fancy stuff you've gained, but when you put that headband of intellect back on do you regain any extra spells you may have prepared off that boost to your extra spells per day? For instance, my dread necro had Charisma 19, which got boosted to 23 for a while.

Did you check the FAQ? This is answered in there I believe. If you have a temporary ability boost when you prepare/gain spell slots then you use the adjusted ability. If later your ability is damaged or otherwise lower you lose spell slots. It does not matter where these slots come from (i.e., they can already be spent) as long as they aren't special slots (specialist wizard bonus spells, domain spells, etc.).
