Ok due to time constraints I’m not sure I’m going to be able to continue dming a homebrewed campaign.

So I’m thinking of looking into a pre-made campaign. Something where the amount of work I have to do is really cut down. Since I won’t have the time to do it.

I’ve never ran one, or bothered to pick up on and flip through it. So I really don’t know much about what’s available (red hand of doom and so forth). Anyway could all you forumites recommend me a good pre-made campaign? I’d like a little synopsis if the campaign too please. (Since I’m the Dm it wouldn’t be much of a spoiler, though for others it might be).

Most of the stuff on the Wizards Original Adventures (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/oa/20030530b) page is pretty good. I love "A Dark and Stormy Night," "Something's Cooking," and "The Ettin's Riddle," but I've look over others and they seem good, too.

"Red Hand of Doom" is one of my favorite modules, but it's time-consuming a different way - it can take months and months to finish, depending on your play speed and such. One recap I read over on the WotC boards took over a year and a half to go through the whole thing. If you and your players are up for that sort of thing (and they like military-focused campaigns), RHoD might be something to check out.

EDIT: Also, if you want to try something in a whole pre-made setting, I think Sovereign Press just finished updating the last adventure module in the original Dragonlance series to 3.5. If your players either know a lot about the Dragonlance setting, or don't know anything about it, that might be something to check out (though it may or may not require other campaign sourcebooks).

I’m looking for something more along the lines of red hand of doom. Something that could take a while to complete. I used “a dark and stormy night” as the beginning of my current campaign and it was rather short. Though it was pretty good.

You can try one of the three Adventure Paths which Paizo published (in Dungeon magazine):

Shackled City (http://paizo.com/dungeon/products/books/v5748btpy7dx9)
Age of Worms (http://paizo.com/dungeon/products/issues/ageOfWorms)
Savage Tide (http://paizo.com/dungeon/products/issues/savageTide)

Each one is for 4 players, taking them from 1-20th lvl.

I cannot speak for all of them, but shackled City takes at least a year, if played once per week, and unless you run to a ridiculously high degree of optimization and teamwork, also kills quite a lot of characters. Hmm. It´s okay, but I´m not overly thrilled.

Well, my friends are currently playing it and I'm supposed to join that campaign once my character finishes Red Hand of Doom (or gloriously dies in the attack on Fane of Tiamat), and since they're using the Hardcover version with an extra adventure, they are 1 lvl higher than they're supposed to be, so right now they (5 of them) find Zenith Trajectory too easy for them... I really hope it will get tougher, since I want some challenge for my Batman wizard...

Well, if you're looking for longer adventures, Red Hand of Doom is my favorite. I'm currently playing in Savage Tides, and though I joined in the middle and have only played for about 3 sessions, I think everyone enjoys it a lot.

If you can find it, Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil was really fun when we started running it a couple of years ago. It's 3.0, so you might need to update some stuff, but overall it works pretty well in 3.5.

Actually, it's Savage Tide, not Tides.

And yes, Red Hand is awesome, though party has to be smart since if they forget to do something, they'll get killed for it later in the adventure.
