Am I the only one that finds it pointless to add spoiler tags when your title is basically your entire guess?

It is the preferred style around here. and one definiton of style is "that which the wise ridicule, and obey."
However, while the title can give the basic idea, the supporting information and the comments of others can be quite important, so it is not completely useless.

Of course, the obvious solution to this is to make thread titles less revealing.

With one caveat: do not make the heading too obscure, as many people won't bother to read it.

eg. If you had some inside info (yeah, right) on Haley, you could put something like "Theory on Haley" or "Haley info" or some such.

Those interested in Haley would then investigate, and could read the spoilers.
