Like the left ear is supposed to be behind the hat, not showing or just sticking above it alittle if you know what I mean.

Other minor nitpicks that you can ignore or just fix in your spare time, the mouth looks... Akward for some reason (Not exactly sure, but if you know a way to make it look better go for it), and the tail is way to short.

Can someone dog-ify my current avatar, please? I took three "inner animal" quizzes and they all had the same result, except one was a wolf, but that's close enough. Also, I love dogs.

Well, anyway, I suppose a female, fluffy, brown dog, with long, floppy ears, and a pink collar. Also, if you can, draw her chewing up a teddy bear or tearing up bunny slippers. In sitting position, I guess.

Overall it's quite nice, but I would suggest changing the arms into shorter straighter lines, they're all squiggly and it just looks strange. I can't really tell what that brown thing on the bottom is though. Perhaps even the eyes out a little also.

It's the left (viewer's perspective) limb which is odd because of the double curve. If you want to preserve the double curve of that limb, move the paw a bit to the left, so that the limb is centered as it enters the paw; this will make the paw point towards the viewer. If the paw is in the proper position, angled slightly away from the viewer, re-draw the limb from its current attachment point to the center of the back of the paw, ignoring any bend the limb would take from being pressed against the table: the limb is not spaghetti, to fold up upon encountering resistance. I would also center the right limb on its paw, but that's a minor detail.

As for the overall style, I like the half-OotS half-asymmetrical panther head, but the squiggles on the table do clash with the solidity of that look.

If you decide to make changes, I'll be glad to check them out and decide on the best, but with your art style, I'm thinking little rounded paws just wouldn't work. Facial changes...mayhaps. Modern scientific consensus is that most theropod dinosaurs (Ha! Take that Abeliosaurs!) from the mid-jurassic onward had feathers at some point in their lives, most through adulthood, see here (http://dino.lm.com/images/display.php?id=121) for a nice depiction.

I would say that it's alright, and it marked the progression of scientific knowledge by not dragging the tail, which would eventually turn to proper stance as studies continued, but then I read where the picture is linked from...

I can't say more without breaking rules.
