View Full Version : Stat yourself... But wait there's more!

...That's right, post now and we'll double! Yes double the fun! All you have to do is stat yourself... Sort of. Think of your amount of life expiriences (level), what class you most resemble (... or Multiclass!), and what your heroic abilities would be, feel free to add feats and spell lists too!*
Offer available on from this forum offer, void in ND, MA, SC, FL, NM, and NH, or where prohibited =P

I guess that I'm 1rst level commoner. My stats would be about 9, except for Int maybe about 14 and 10 like Dexterity.

Was that just hype, or is there actually some way this thread is different from all the other "Stat yourself" threads we've had?

My stats are Str:8*. Dex:14. Con:14. Int:16. Wis: 8 and Cha 12. I'm pretty much a Commoner at present (unless I'm somehow a Ranger 1/Paladin 2 from having some animal communication skills while being a Reiki Master). I'll be an Expert with ranks in Heal and Profession (Alternative Therapist) in about 3 years time. In D&D, Archivist would fit brilliantly for me, but I'd probably be a Wizard using a custom Domain I created called the Assistance Domain* if I couldn't use my Archivist variant (it's limited to Cleric spells only while using Int for bonus spells). Racewise, I'd sooner be a Lupin or a Phanaton (pages 36 and 32 of http://www.crystalkeep.com/d20/rules/DnD3.5Index-Races.pdf ) or an LA 0 Gnoll if my stats were different.

*0 Resistance.
1 Mage Armour.
2 Bull's Strength.
3 Haste.
4 Lesser Globe of Invulnerability.
5 Telepathic Bond
6 Greater Heroism
7 Spell Turning.
8 Mind Blank.
9 Foresight.

*Or possibly just 7: I'm not very athletic, but I'm generally healthy, hence the good Con stat.

In any case, doesn't this belong in the Silly Message Board Games section?

Alignment started at Chaotic Neutral, steadily moving to Chaotic Evil, then eventually Lawful Evil. From Lawful Evil to (striving for) Lawful Good. Mr. Friendly abandoned his Chaotic Evil dieties to worship a LG deity, thus gets no access to cleric spells. However, the DM did grant Righteous Wrath, despite being not *quite* exalted enough to earn it. The DM knows that Mr. Firendly's heart is in the right place, but he is kind of psychotic. Also, the DM allows Mr. Friendly to have the "frenzy" barbarian variant with no alignment restriction.

I've had an interesting life so far.

An Illiterate Scribe stands about 9 feet tall in spite of its hunched posture and is about 4 feet wide. It weighs about 4,000 pounds.

Illiterate Scribes is never found with others of its type. Each of these asexual creatures produces one offspring and carries it for a time in a pouch, but thereafter the young Scribe must fend for itself.

A unique quality of the Illiterate Scribe is its tendency to bond with, protect, and provide for another creature (or group of creatures) native to its surroundings. Whether accepted or not, the Scribe always attempts to remain fairly close, watching over its adopted charge(s) and daily bringing an offering of meat. It never willingly harms adopted creatures and retreats if they attack it.

Combat
Illiterate Scribe attacks to kill, whether to bring down prey or to protect itself or those it has adopted. When hunting, it sometimes attempts to hide and wait for prey to wander close.

Improved Grab (Ex)
To use this ability, Illiterate Scribe must hit with its bite attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity.

Rend (Ex)
If Illiterate Scribe wins a grapple check after a successful bite attack, it establishes a hold, latching onto the opponent’s body and tearing the flesh. This attack automatically deals 2d6+9 points of damage.

Skills
Illiterate Scribe has an +4 racial bonus on Spot checks due to its six keen eyes.

Hmm, some of you sure have high thought about your INT score :smallwink:

Well, the average Int of an RPG gamer is probably at least 12, I'd say.

Hmm, so far we've seen several 17s, a 19 (18 + level up) and an 18 (mine). My 18 is correct, and, considering even an 18 is only 1/216, I see no reason to disregard the others.

Going by the rules, 10 is average, so, say, an 8 is just somewhat who get sicks a little faster and doesn't have much endurance. (Like me.) Someone with an 8 in any stat isn't a crippled person.

As for myself, I just used 15 point buy, to be sure I wasn't overestimating myself.

Tempest Fennac

You're probably right (I just tend to see Con as being a really important stat). (I added up my point buy afterwards. I don't think a 26 PB is really too powerful.) My Str stat may be as low as 7, though (it seems more inportant then other stats as far as athleticism goes).
