So I made an avatar within specs, uploaded it to my own site, put the link in the avatar field and it tells me I didn't input the url properly. Ditto after I tried linking to photobucket. What the heck am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
TS

Post the URL here so we can look at it, but my first guess is that there's a space in the file name. This board doesn't like those.

Copied and pastes directly from my site: http://lucasbuchanan.com/Pale%20Man
I tried it exactly that way, with a .jpg tag, with the %20 replaced with a space and nothing worked.

Yep. The %20 is what the board does to spaces in the URL field, and it's the problem. Go re-upload it with an underscore in place of that space, change the link in the avatar URL field, and it'll probably work just fine.

You're welcWhat in Kord's name IS that? If that isn't an obscene gesture, it ought to be!

It's the Pale Man, a really nasty creature from the film Pan's Labyrinth. (Though it's not half as nasty as Captain Vidal, the film's primary antagonist. Not a film for the faint of heart or sensitive of stomach.)

Having eyes in your palms instead of your head = kickass. You squeeze your fists to blink
