Fold It! a protein-folding game

Hmm, guess this is different than the other protein folding thing. Either way still surprised there isn't a HardOCP (http://hardocp.com/) team. (It's an overclocking website, not a rap group :P)

Yes, this is not the distributed computing project Folding@Home, but rather a new one that wonders if human videogamers can devise strategies that the expert systems haven't thought of. I don't know if it's plausible that coming up with a model for the scoring system is easier than folding the actual proteins, but it's an amusing enough thought. And the game has that offbeat vibe like Katamari Damacy, although it won't be solid win until it is released as WiiWare.
