How many, and which, are the caster classes and PrCs that dabble into specific schools of magic? I mean like Warmage(evocation), Dread Necromancer(necromancy) and Abjurant Champion(abjuration)? I think the beguiler would qualify too, since it works with both illusion and enchantment.
I'm gonna re-read my Completes and see what I can find, but is the anything else outside the Completes?
Also, how many arcane full casters are out there? At least in official WotC books, not 3rd party ones.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm... Archmage, Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil, Earth Dreamer, Shadowcraft Mage, Geometer, Mage of the Arcane Order, Master Specialist... Someone will continue.

Shadowcraft Mage is (shadow) illusionist, for example.

Thanks Gorbash, that'll give me a good start.

Red Wizard (his specialty school) Loremaster (divination, at least as far as fluff and requirements go), Unseen Seer (divination with possibility of illusion replacing it), Malkonvoker (conjuration[summoning]), Alienist (conjuration[summoning]), Abjurant Champion(obvious :smallwink:).

Archmage doesn't dabble in specific school of magic, he dabbles in as many as he can (at least five). Think that it is same case with Mage of Arcane Order (not really sure though).

I think it's vaguely important though to note that Malconvoker and Alienist are functionally incompatible - Malconvoker is really only great with evil summons and Alienist pretty much removes all of them from your summon list. (turns all the celestial or fiendish template creatures into the pseudonatural template instead, forget what it does to the other summons)

Nothing. The summon Pseudonatural Creature only works with Celestial and Fiendish creatures as per Summon Monster Spells. It lists having no changes for anything such as summoning swarms or Undead via Libris Mortis.
