I have a friend here who is considering joining a (heavily modified and adapted) game at the Zombie Master forums.

Can anyone name a free, online, turn-based, d20 game? I'm imagining something in flash here, with a really generic adventure.

It's not free or online, but Star Wars: KotOR was based on the d20 system, and well worth the middling price it should be now.

When I saw the title I thought this was going to be another 4e thread. :smalltongue:

This thread's name sounds to my ears like "water for the thirsty".

(Comment to be taken with a pinch of salt.)

Neverwinter Nights is cheap and gives him the chance to explore most classes. Wizard and sorcerer will be hard to master, but that comes in time. Just tell him to grab a fighter or paladin or barbarian and start hacking

I thought he was referring to this (http://www.gamespy.com/articles/633/633817p1.html).

If your friend can at all possibly get ahold of Temple of Elemental Evil for the PC that'd probably be the best bet. Unlike KotOR and Neverwinter (1 & 2), it's actually turn-based (for combat). It is also a very faithful adaptation of 3.5 rules (it doesn't include everything, but what is included follows the rules).

You should probably just talk to Qloos about it, I believe he has experience with this.
