What kind of things can a Major Image do? I know it'll act as you tell it, so, if you cast it in the midst of a fight, you could fool somebody into thinking there was another person joining the fight. But, could you flank with a Major Image? The enemy you are flanking would still have his attention divided between two sources, which is how I always imagined it.
So, if, say, a Warlock used, say, Flee the Scene and poofed on the opposite side of an enemy, would he get a flanking bonus?

RAW, I don't think so, but until he disbelieved it, I'd rule that it affects him the same way. Of course, I also wouldn't give a flanking bonus to an invisible PC, until the opponent became aware of the threat.

Flee the scene works as Dimension door, but on a short range.

The image left behind only lasts one round.

When you flee the scene, you can't take any other actions until your next turn.

Your next turn, the image goes away.

So, no, you can't flank with it.
