What video games you greatly admire, would you most like to see get
Lego-ized like Star Wars did ?

Well, I'd like to see Batman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lego_Batman:_The_Video_Game) and Indiana Jones (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lego_Indiana_Jones:_The_Original_Adventures)...

I honestly respect any games I like too much to see them Lego-ized.

To me, its just an attempt to make more money by making a cheap knock-off version of the real game geared more towards younger gamers.

...

That being said the only one single thing I would endure playing if it was lego-ized would be Legend of Zelda because the game transcends all forms of awesome.

G-Man, are you talking about Lego games or Lego itself?

Actually, scratch that question because you've taken the path of defeat one way or another. Lego are awesome and an irreplaceable part of my childhood, and both Lego Star Wars are... considered the best SW games in the whole franchise!

Now, what kind of stuff I'd like to see Lego-ized? Planescape Torment was mentioned already, I'd like to add FF VI to Oregano's VII, and WH40k would be awesome and hilarious in one package. Also, Starcraft and Half-Life.

EDIT: Metroid! Metroid! Metroid!

I agree with the four above except for Soul Reaver.

I'll add Portal to the list, Assassin's Creed..., Starcraft.

I wouldn't mind a 40k Lego videogame. Mostly because I don't think there are enough 40k videogames to begin with. Fire Warrior and Dawn of War? That's it, right?

On the other hand, I'd love actual *Legos* themed with 40k even more. I'd have a Chaos-Defiler-beating-up-a-Dreadnought centerpiece on every coffee-table in my house.

Alternatively, a Shadow of the Colossus Lego set would win so hard. All the "climbable" parts on the actual colossi would have to be modeled with bits that can be grasped by Lego hands, though, or else it's not worth it.

Lego Gears of War. Think about how fun that would be. In the Lego games, you run around blowing the environment up collecting bricks, right? Well, think of this: Chainsawing a Lego-Locust, and bricks fly everywhere. Then you get to run around and collect the body parts.

There are many more. Most are old or unavailable for PC though - Space Hulk (you control a termie and fight tyranids on a spaceship), Chaos Gate (strategy game with Ultramarines, I played it and was fun), Final Liberation (tactical, and the second oldest from these, right after Space Hulk), Rites of War (Panzer General-esque, default player faction is Eldar), Squad Command (for PSP only).

Have you played Lego Star Wars? Hilarious. Best Star Wars game since... TIE Fighter. No... since 1976.:smallwink: Also, best Lego game since ever. (I did enjoy Rock Raiders for the most part, though... and Lego Island, and Lego Creator, and...)

I like the game too, but I don't see the glory of turning it into Lego when it's already Playskool.

On the other hand, I could definitely get me into some Lego GTA in a way that I can't get into the real game.

Oh man that would be so incredibly cool. I think the first one at least could be done perfectly well (except perhaps for the weak-spot patterns) with parts that already exist, which means I really want to try it. Damn, I need disposable income and a repaired Playstation!

Every single Mechwarrior game that has ever existed, especially Mercenaries. The ability to customize or even build your own mechs with lego bricks you salvage from battles would be great.

Legend of Zelda; Brick of Time or Super Lego Mario, but a Lego Metroid sounds cool. Lego Fire Emblem sounds cool and funny at the same time. Lego knights and soldiers duking it out with swords and spears.
I've played Lego since forever and still build plenty of things with it.

I'm fairly sure there's a Lego-based mod for Half-Life 2 in the works, can't find the link though. Failing that, Lego: Total War. That is all.

You guys do realize there is a Lego MMO (http://universe.lego.com/en-US/default.aspx) that they are working on right? I cant wait till its out as my daughter already loves lego star wars.

Also this Lego Troll Assault Wagon (http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=7038) is going on my list for MY birthday as I still like to play Legos with the kids; and honestly, who doesnt want a lego troll?

Legos are the one thing that gives me hope that computers cant win everything as far as entertainment.

Well, as already mentioned. In the grim, dark future of the 41. Millenium, there is only LEGO. Mostly black, brown, grey and green bricks, but there are rumours of yellow bricks and blue bricks used there where THE CREATORS run out of mnochrome GRIMDARK colours, but this is heretic thinking and generally frowned upon, especially by the inquisition.
Just think of it! What is the best part of W40k? The universe. And the best part of the tabletop game? Aye, the building and tinkering. Lego 40000 combines both in one awesome product! And it would be nice seeing all those grim Lego faces, firmly gripping their favourite weapon in their tiny clip-hands, ready to tear the enemy brick from brick. Battle damage? Easy, just take away a few bricks. Plasma weapon gone bad? Take off that arm. Chopped in half? Removable legs! Kids at home? What is more fun, educating and blasphemous at the same time than letting your kid play with the new "Word Bearers Dark Apostle (With chainaxe and slaves)"

And, barring that, the Mythos. In bricks.
