Aquanox 2

I just finished Aquanox 2. It was such an awesome game. I really enjoyed it, and that although I am not the biggest fan of shooters/simulations. Story, handling, setting, everything just felt right, and, even today, the graphics are still pleasurable to look at, although surely not at the height of newer games.
but what is incredibly sad, and made me want to weep in mourning was that it doesn't seem like there will ever be another part of the series, which, given that the ending of Revelation just screams "make another part", none was published.
Anyone else here to mourn Aquanox with me, and/or share his tories or thoughts about the game?

I keep hearing conflicting information on a third game. So there may or may not be one coming out.

I'm guessing not.

Seems that it's also kind of an obscure game. So you're probably not going to get too many replies.
