The pact initiate feat from the PHB could have used a little more editing.

You see, in the text it states you get the pact power of the warlock (1/enc), and in the table it states you get eldritch blast (1/enc)

The PHB also states that Nature is an Int skill in the Wizard's Class Traits section.

I assume that the 3e tradition of "text trumps table" is still in effect, meaning that you get the pact power, not the EB.

Pact power makes more sense, given the other details they give in the text.

Heck, it says Swordsages get x6 skill points at first level.

These things don't matter.

Text= More important than table.

Speaking of inconsistencies etc., I can't find where the PHB actually tells you what [W] means in power descriptions. I presume it means "weapon base damage", but where's that spelled out?

Yes, it's the base damage.
It's spelled out on page 276.
