I pause, and then motion for a DRD to finish with the rest.

Kal, wiping his eyes, says I'll go and get some now, while I think of it. He vanishes, for a few seconds, and re-appears, wearing a stylish sweater, and nice jeans. He holds out Randy's shirt, clean and dry. Voila. Sitting down again, he asks And how are you today?

One of my eyes goes wide, the other quints. How'd... You get new clothes that fast? I don't even know where the nearest store is...

Actually, nice outfit. I am fine today. Managed to sedate that crazy guy, but he had an allergic reaction to the sedatives, and went into anaphylactic shock. But Sam got some epinephrine quickly, and Tempest healed him, and now he's sound asleep, strapped into a stretcher in the infirmary.

Well, I'm pretty fast... and, well, thanks. Kal blushes at Randy's compliment (interestingly, as he's grown older, his blood has changed to crimson, rather than lilac). Yet, he looks worried, saying, Wait, what crazy guy? He incinerates the bottle of his drink, as he finishes it.

Oh, and I saw what happened to Sizzle...

I begin to eat, hiding the fact that it doesn't taste so great perfectly. Man, I actually want to go to that island of daemons now. I've been reading up on all this evil force, and been practicing with my psionics, now I actually want to see it come together, and get to ridding those guys.

Kal nods. Well, try not to die. What kind of demons are we talking here? Realising that this is by no means his best meal, he, using superspeed, replaces the meals with something he bought earlier, and heated up with his vision. Food OK? :smalltongue:

No, did you? Tempest will see a shadow vanish around a corner further up the hall.

It looked like a shadow of some sort. I'm going to check it out. Tempest leaves the kitchen and sneaks after the shadow.

Aurea leaves the kitchen through another door.
As Tempest goes around the corner, darts will fly far over his head. The shadowy figure 5 meters away was clearly expecting somebody taller.

Who are you? Tempest tries to use a Web spell to trap the intruder.

The figure jumps up the wall, dodging the spell, and flips over behind Tempest. While in the air he tosses another dart.

Tempest rolls out of the way. You know, it really isn't polite to not answer people's questions. Tempest casts Acid Fog in an attempt to trap the intruder in it.

The figure is caught in the fog and disappears.

I hate it when people waste my best spell slots like that. Oy, where did you go???

As the acid starts corroding the figure's lungs, Tempest will hear coughing coming from the Living room.

Tempest dashes into the living room. Okay, I know you're in here. If you know what's good for you, surrender now. (my characters really aren't that intimidating, are they?:smalltongue:)

The figure just stared at Tempest for a second and drew two sai. It is completely covered in black cloth, only the eyes are visible.

I take it that you want to die, right? Tempest fires an Orb of Electricity at the figure.

The figure gets hits and goes to it's knees.

Tempest casts web again on order to try to trap the figure. Are you ready to talk now?

The figure tries to roll out of the way but the web sticks it to the wall. Death first! The voice of a young boy, Tempest may also note the figure is shorter than average.

So you're not going to tell me who you are or what you're doing here?

The boy says nothing, rather, he tries to flip a capsule he wears on a chain around his neck into his mouth.

Tempest dashes to within 5 feet of the boy before trying to grab the apsule using Mage Hand. If he succeeds, he will put it in his miniture bag of holding.

The suicide tablet is pulled away and the boy tries to free himself again despertetly.

Tempest also attempts to take the boy's sais off him. Who sent you? If you don't start talking, things are likely to get much worse for you.

The sais also go. The boy sits back and glowers bravely. Aurea walks in with a rapier at ehr waist.

Hi, Aurea. The boy attempted to kill me earlier, and then he tried to take some sort of pill after I trapped him. Please could you help me to find out about who sent him and what he's doing here?

Aurea nods and cuffs the kid upside the head. Talk.

Be careful that you don't hurt him too much. If he dies, I can't cast Speak with Dead. (I'l need to deadtime in about 15 minutes.)

Mike slowly wakes up and kisses Erin before slipping out of bed and over to his drums. He sets a small spell that should silence the noise to keep from waking Erin, and begins to play.

Nova shrugs. It's sort of a long story in it's entirety, but basically 5 or 6 years ago, I was in university, studying astronomy, and out of a bunch of spare sparts I was able to create a mini-rocketship capable of breaking through the atmosphere. That, coupled with my dislike of my given name, drove some friends of mine to call me the Starman. Partly a reference to the rocketship, and partly a reference to David Bowie, because I'm a musician. He remarks. He then nods to Aurea. That's a nice name, Aurea.

Kal nods. Comprehensive. :smalltongue: He superreads the rest of his tome, and puts it back on the shelf. See you guys later.

Apparently satisfed with his knife, Lucas begins throwing into random books, Including the one Nova's holding.

The knife easily shears the paperback and goes so far as to cut Nova's cheek. He winces and sets the book down. He then takes the knife and stuffs it into his jacket pocket.

Erin sits up and grins.

Oi! I need that! Lucas approaches Nova angrily. Gve it back!

Aurea draws her rapier and holds it to Lucas' throat. Shouldda thought about that before you threw it at the book, jackass.

Lucas catches the knife expertly. He then turns to face Aurea. ..Says the person holding a sword to my neck. Nw back off, or I will kill you.

Sam draws her Glock and points it at Lucas' head. That's not going to happen.

Erin sits up and grins.

Mike stops his playing to smile widely at her.

Lucas glances between the glock pointed at his head, then the sword at his neck, then back to the glock. Lightening-quick he flicks the knife at Sam while unleashing a torrent of fire at Aurea's face.

Jenny comes in, takes a look at the scene, and sighs.

Lucas...for the love of god, can't you stop?

Sam shoots two 9mm hollowpoint rounds at a rate rather faster than the knife, they are aimed between Lucas' eyes. Aurea turns back into a young golden dragon, shelves get smashed but the fire does nothing.

Lucas shape-shifts summons a shimmering purple shiled to stop the bullets force, allowing the metal slugs to drop to the ground. He then turns to Jenny. I'm easily bored. Besides, she started. Lucas points at Aurea.

Erin grins and jumps out of bed, seating herself behind the keyboard.

Erin closes her eyes and starts to play, perfectly once again...

Nova shrugs. The wound looks pretty nasty actually. The knife caught his cheek at an odd angle, and nearly sliced clean through it.

Aurea gasps. That looks horrible. Come on, we've got to get you patched up. She stands up and tries to help him to his feet.

Nova stands and shrugs again. Eh, I've had worse.

Mike plays along happily.

Aurea rolls her eyes. Suit yourself. She picks up her her book and her notes. Dealing with that jerk made me tired, see you later... She goes to her room.

Nova grabs a small bandage and puts it over the cut to stop the bleeding. Bye. He says, deadtiming.

Due to a HALOer contacting me on a "Memorphaga", who's name I shall keep secret just in case, I'm starting to feel like I'm needed here to "clear up" a couple things and maybe fix things here or there and do an actual plot. Sam makes yet another "dramatic" appearance as usual in the room everyone is in, still lacking the dramatic music that seems like it should accompany it.

Of course, there probably isn't anything evil around at the moment.

I definitly said that they are clinically incompitant. I was just thinking that it wouldn't matter if they get killed (mainly because they are able to come back to life after a few seconds, unless the Commander takes to long to put another coin in his machine. If they happens, the will just materialise bak at their base).
