Problems with Wii WFC

I am having some serious issues with my Wii's internet connection. I wish to play SSBB online and am unable to participate in a match. I can spectate matches perfectly fine, but as soon as I get into a match and the countdown begins the connection slows way down and drops me. I get dropped anywhere from 2 seconds to 35 seconds, on the ingame timer.

Any ideas on how to fix this dilema?

You're not alone. TONS of people, including myself, have this problem. You just need a faster connection I guess. I actually got one game to work, (with ingame lag) if I waited a really long time. Try that, but other then that I can't help ya.

Ports are forwarded and connections are set, IP was created and recognized. Why can I still not get a decent connection? No Wavebird involved.
