can anyone recomend a headset thats good/relaible and interesting.I've gotten through about 5 in the last year or so and its getting annoying, i use it mainly for Ventrilo, if anyone can recomend a specific one or a reliable make, that would be cool :smallbiggrin:

For the love of Bob, don't buy Creative, whatever you do. I regret ever purchasing their hardware, it always falls apart.

Creative's tech is extremely impressive and sturdy (mp3s, Soundcards, etc), but yes, their peripherals do tend to be a bit on the flimsy side. I had two headphones break on me within 4 months. They were good while they lasted though. If you're not like me who constantly manhandles his hardware, they should last significantly longer than that.

But they're still pretty fragile compared to the competition.

Even my MP3 players made by Creative have ended up disintegrating, actually. I'm sure their sound cards are great but anything involving plastic is a total bust.
