Haha, pardon me if there is one of these already, but I thought the lack of gnomes in 4e was most disturbing as a PC race. And so... the Gnome:

RACIAL TRAITS
Average Height: 4'10" - 5'2"
Average Weight: 80-90 lb.

Ability Scores: +2 Charisma, +2 Dexterity
Size: Small (same penalties as Halfling)
Speed: 5 squares
Vision: Low-light vision

Languages: Common, Elven
Skill Bonuses: +2 Arcana, +2 Stealth
Fey Origin: Same as Eladrin
Keen Senses: +2 to Perception.
Reactive Stealth: If a gnome has cover or concealment when it makes an initiative check at the start of an encounter, it can make a Stealth check to escape notice.
Fade Away: You can use fade away as an encounter power.

Fade Away - Gnome Racial Power
At a thought, you can fade into the background.
Encounter <> Illusion
Immediate Reaction - Personal
Trigger: When you take damage.
Effect: Turn invisible until you attack or until the end of your next turn.

((Tried to keep as close to the MM version as I could.))

Very nice, I'll bookmark it and use it in my games. Thanks. My only though: I'm pretty sure invisibility is a mite overpowered for a first level character. Maybe have a bonus to hide instead?

They're in the Monster Manual, they're really good too when I looked over them... isn't that more or less the same thing?

Haha! My bad!

I didn't realise the Monster races were in the back of the Monster Manual. :P

Well, I got pretty close!
