An aerial view of my town. Probably 1/3 of the town is flooded.

Luckily, we are on a slight hill...though the water is only about 100 yards from us :smalleek:

A few close-by towns flooded near me last year due to lots of record-breaking rain. My house is on a huge hill by a river, so I am pretty safe from flooding.

Now if I was one of the unfortunates from Yorkshire instead of Nottingham i'd likly be saying somthing rather diferent...
