Well, since there's no "writing" section, I think this would fit best here.
Due to the fact that there would be a problem with having 25+ pages of text posted here, I'm just going to link you to a place where you can read it.
OK, so I shall begin at the begging (Duh!).
I'm a big fan of the forum at www.deletionquality.net, and as a member there, I began writing a novel from characters the people submitted characters.
It got to about 20 pages, and it got to the point where it got too big and clunky for using the showoff forum.
I made a freeweb for it, and then soon after, since it wasn't anchored to DQ anymore, I made it into WebWars. Same thing, just more inclusive.
I got in a conversation with the owner of another site, and he ended up giving me the space and shared trafficking of the site, so now it's hosted here. (http://webwars.pwnsome.com/home/)
Now onto what it is.
Webwars is a sifi-fantasy novel about characters people submit.
The fist volume has a lot of references to DQ, so you might not get all of that, but I'm changing that in volume 2, which is going to be better than volume one.
So far I've wrote around 25 pages, and have volume 1, part 1-8 released, and volume 2 part one.
So, go check out the whole thing, enjoy the reading over at the place I linked to, or just click on my sig.
Feel free to submit a character; that's how I make this.
OK, so onto a slightly different thing. The forums over at Pwnsome (http://www.pwnsome.com/) are great, and they're the place that I'm hosted off of. They used to have over 10K members, but college got in the way of the head admin, and he shut it down. He recently started it up again.
It's a great place. I'm a mod there, and have my own little corner of the forums.
So, bottom line: go check out the forums, and, more importantly, WebWars.
