Has anybody began a 4e conversion for Avatar: The Last Airbender? It seems like a pretty good system for benders, since there are so many manuevers. The four bending styles work out pretty well into the primary roles, too:

Air: Controller (2nd: Leader)
Water: Leader (2nd: Defender)
Earth: Defender (2nd: Striker)
Fire: Striker (2nd: Controller)

Some attacks are basic and would be good at wills like the water whip or an air blast. Others are more complex and would make good dailies like Zuko's fire daggers (as a stance).

Yes (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83084) and yes (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83004). We've also started compiling combination forms (developed using the 3.5 system) as a skeleton for yet another possible attempt.
