Hey,

Me and my companions are currently full throatle in a 3.5 campaign but my bf bought 4ed books and we did a quick game with it, now there were some things in 4ed i loved, like minions for exsample but other things i didn't like and somethings i prefered in 3.5. Now i was wondering if anyone else has done some homebrewing of creating the child of 3.5ed and 4ed just to help get me started on where i can start creating my own homebrew

I'm actually in the process of combining 3.5, 4e, and E6, but it'll be a while before I have anything to show for it.

Sorry that that doesn't actually help you though...:smallfrown:

3.5ed + 4ed = 7.5ed, of course.

What a silly question.

@V I'm pretty sure they work like variables. So we could say "x = ed" and then it'd be: 3.5x+4x=7.5x

That depends...the "ed"s might not cancel out, leaving us with 7.5eded.

I dunno, I'm inclined to think it works like normal algebra.

Although what the OP wants is more likely 3.75ed

i love you guys.
Well i'm currently sitting down with my DM and deciding how were doing this, ideas are, mainly sticking with the core of 3.5 rules, and adding in stuff like the minions, Passive perspective etc etc, at the mo its a balancing act and with a huge running campagin a bit of a head ache ^^; so thanks for the laugh :P

I think that the OP's real question was (3.5ed+4.0ed)/2=3.75ed (average of the two)

There is another D&D site I know of where this exact discussion is taking place. Uhhh... here (http://dicefreaks.forumz.cc/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1058).
They are referring to a hybrid between the two editions as 3.9, since Paizo's Pathfinder holds the title of 3.75 it seems.

Hey Elixia!
I've been busy doing some personal homebrew stuff combining 3.5 ed and 4 ed, mainly races but I'm working on classes, which is a tad more dificult to produce...

3.5 + 4e = Saga Edition. :elan:
