Good evening,

Seemed like most appropriate forum...until the DM adjusts my armor.

I did a search, and assuming by the none-found, that this hasn't been written about, or at least with my limited search string ("RSS").

Anyway, is there planned / or is there a method of subscription to a RSS Feed (similar to freakangels) that one could use for Erfworld or OoTS?

Having read through the backlog, I lose track of where I last read:smallredface:, and don't religiously check on M,W, or F for new items, as I get lost in other web distractions.:smalleek:

Good show. Full marks on the strip.

Jim

There is a link on the wikipedia articles to the rss feeds, and probably in the next couple posts too.:smalltongue:

There is most certainly an RSS feed. Firefox 3 has a feature that rather handily nabs RSS feeds from any page, and lets you subscribe to them in one click, so I suspect you don't have that.

You can find the RSS feed on the second page of news (http://www.giantitp.com/index1.html).

Scroll down till you hit it. You'll know it when you see it.:smallwink:

Thank you for the feedback everyone. I'll give both options a shot (once I read up on them).

I haven't found all the tricks to Firefox 3 yet. I abandoned FF2 due to memory hogging. I tend to be more low level (RTOS) than the smoke and mirrors of web development

Cheers

It's up...It's Good !!!

I had forgotten about FF having the bookmark toolbar, having abandoned it for IE7 after it would spiral memory usage. I've seen other sites be more explicit in advertising their linkup.

Such is life.

Maybe I can find my cape and fly above the blogosphere to escape all this.

There is a easy way to access the RSS feed: go to the Comics (http://www.giantitp.com/Comics.html) page, and click on your RSS button in your browser of choice.

By the way, here's an excellent RSS-feed reader for Firefox 3:

Brief (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4578)

Works so much better than Firefox's default settings.

Do any of these approaches include access to the OOTS-only feed (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots.rss)?

Yeah, it should work.

(The Oots-feed is accessed through viewing a page of the comic and clicking your RSS button.)
