Mistaken Identity Week - Starts August Eighth

Like I said in the farewell thread, I'll be away 'till the 6'th, so that's when I plan to hold my favourite holiday - two days after, like it says in the tittle, so I can get the list sorted out. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, someone should know.

Awesome! Been looking forward to this. Three questions, however.

1.) How are the identities chosen in the other thread? Do we put our information there and then it is given at random to someone else wh signs up?

2.) My avatar should be changed to convey the phase of the moon. Should I create a seperate, static avatar, perhaps holding a sign saying: "MI week, not changing"?

3.) What if someone enters mistaken identity week, then, before they change back, real life catches up and they are unable to re-establish themselves. They could be mistaken for the rightful owner of the avatar, even after the week ends. What happens then?

I think it is just a case of forum members being matched up with each other rather then a mish-mash, so if you have your details randomly assigned, you would be using the details of whoever swaps with you. (sorry for misunderstanding the question).

Most of the weeks require new avatars to be made, so there's a months notice to give avatar artists enough time to draw avatars for everyone who wants one. (MI week is an example of a week where 1, or possibly 2, weeks would be plenty of time to organise it, but I'm guessing MC wanted to keep the traditional "1 month warning" for it.)

Make a new Photobucket account.
That way, if somebody is directly linking his/her avatar from my Photobucket account, they won't have the problem of missing link.
