Fyron's Son (SOD Spoilers)

I'm not going to tag them as spoilers after warning you in the thread title.

Ok, you asked for it:

In #110 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0110.html), Roy says Xykon killed Fyron "and his son in cold blood" (row 3, panel 2)
But in Eugene's retelling of the killing in SoD, he mentions no son, either living or dead.

What's going on, and where did Roy hear about a son from?

Mmm, this intrigues me too. Roy also mentions his son here (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0434.html), which lessens the likelihood that it is just a plot hole. So in my mind that leaves us with three options:

1: Roy is just plain wrong, he misheard or created the detail himself or some such.
2: It happened "off screen," and we just are not shown Eugene mentioning it. Considering the scene, it must have happened before Xykon and Fyron faced off, so that might make sense.
3: MYSTERIOUS MYSTERY THAT TURNS INTO A PLOT POINT!

Incidentally, I keep thinking it is Fryon. It just sounds right! >_<

The best explanation for this that I've seen is that Fyron's son, like Eugene, swore vengeance against Xykon. Unlike Eugene, Fyron Jr. actually FOUND Xykon and was summarily killed.

Either Fyron's son swore vengeance as was suggested above, or he was killed the same night as Fyron (right before or, more likely, after Fyron), and Eugene just didn't give the details.

Or that his son was killed off screen. Keep in mind that they even pointed out in the sequence that neither Eugene nor Fyron considered death to be a problem, since they had the money and connections to be raised quickly. It was the zombification that caused Eugene to swear vengeance, since he couldn't raise him now.
