I can't find where we wrote it down, but a friend and I wrote our own translation of the 1st season theme music for Death Note. Hint: it involves arugula. Lots and lots of arugula.

No joke.

Cover me in sodomy.
I've got my spine, I've got my orange crush.

Watching the trailer for 101 Dalmatians, I always thought the Cruella De Vil song went "If she doesn't scare you, the weevil thing will". I was highly confused when the actual movie did not involve a giant bug operating things behind the scenes.

Just can't get it up...

Surprised the 'little blue pill' hasn't latched onto this Depeche Mode classic yet...

There is always the classic "Scu'z me, while I kiss this guy!" lyric from Jimi Hendrix' Purple Haze.

(Actual line is "Scu'z me while I kiss the sky.")

So you are familiar with the Mondegreen, I see.

Derived from "Laid him on the Green."

Pay no mind to what they say...
It's just games people play, hey yay yay...

Islands Of Seals

I never understood what the islands had to do with gossip mongers, but I enjoyed the visual image...Thx, Go Gos!

Wow, that Amaranth one is awesome - I had to actually look up the real lyrics to figure out what they really are. :P

That's not misheard, that's missang... on account of being way too drunk (and probably high, who knows on what...)

In Slave by Lucky Dube, I'm a liquor slaaave. C'ept everyone heard legal slave which turned him into a big anti-aparthied artist in the South African reggae scene.

Thanks for making the topic, Quirinus_Obsidian.

O Fortuna
That song (poem?) rockz sox but the fact that its in latin does make it a tad difficult to understand.

Where are you, Holy High? (http://evantoo.ytmnd.com/)

As with all other things YTMND, this is a little nsfw, maybe.

Ah, misheard lyrics, gotta love 'em. I mean, who can forget such classics as:

Hold me closer, Tony Danza. Count the headlights on the highway by Elton John.

Then there's Big Old Jan & A Rhino, don't carry me too far away" By the Steve Miller Band, and Bakin' Carrot Biscuits, every day! by BTO.

Our Love is like Walter, being down & abused for being strange by Live was always a favourite of mine. Poor, poor Walter.

There's an awesome website devoted to this kind of stuff at:

The Archive of Misheard Lyrics (http://www.kissthisguy.com/)

You're welcome =D I thought that it would be cool to mention, since I did not see it anywhere else. The Nightwish misheard lyrics are fantastic (one for Fantasmic would be unreasonably awesome).
