GEEX (www.geexshow.com) is a Gaming/Electronics Expo being run in the Salt Palace Convention Center (100 S. West Temple, center downtown) from July 17th til the 19th. I'm wondering anyone will be attending.

I'm going to be there for at least the last two days, running magic tournaments for the gaming store I work for. Trying to work my schedule to get the first day as well.

So, anyone interested, at all? :smallsmile:

I saw a flyer for this at my University, I'm making a point to show up even if it's just to walk around and have a look see.

I'll be the dude who's not saying much, may or may not have a messenger bag (Jack Bag) with an Iron Maiden patch on it. I also may or may not be wearing a Xykon shirt.

I don't know what the booth number be, or very many details, really. I'll be representing Hastur's Games & Comics.

Also, if any of you don't want to pay the cost of the pass in, you can come down to Hastur's and I can give you one. Free. Yep.

I think I will show up, but it is my last weekend before I go "knocking on random doors for two years" so I am not sure if I will be able. If I do go, I might post a little more info before. It sounds like a ton of fun.

No kiding, where're you going? I'm shipping out to Washington state in August myself.
