Triluane Village

[Quinsar]

Near the town is a very large lake, in the center of the lake is a series of floating buildings, connected by bridges. The inhabatants are human like creatures, with long tails, their backs are covered in fur and they have elongated faces. One large building is dedicated to an unseen creature.

[Lupy]

A tennaged boy in orange robes walks in purposefully. Thomas ((one of the priests)) sent him here to make contact with the locals.

[Quinsar]

One of the creatures is fishing near the shore.

[Lupy]

The boy bows to the creature and says, Hello. Do you speak Common?

[Quinsar]

The creature looks at him.
Yes.... Little...

[Lupy]

The boy nods. I am Paul. Who are you?

[Quinsar]

Gezlin... Me... Gezlin...

[Lupy]

Is this your home?

[Quinsar]

Yes.... This... My... home...

[Lupy]

May I talk with the cheif, Gezlin?

[Quinsar]

Yes... You get in... boat...

[Lupy]

Paul nods and gets in the boat. Who is your cheif?

[Quinsar]

Chief... Levian...
He gegins to row towards the village, it is raining here.

[Lupy]

Is Levian like you? The boy seems to think that Levian is a somewhat complicated name for these people, then remebers that common is not integral to all civilizations.

EDIT: Unlike Lupy, the rain gets the boy wet, although some of it does steam off, it is barely noticeable.

He speak... Gooder...

[Lupy]

How do you speak mostly? The boy is trying to say "What is your language." but isn't sure how to do so.

Paul carefully remembers this and says, Is that your village? He points at the group of buildings on the shore.

The village is floating in the middle of the lake.
This... village....
He begins to dock, the town is quiet.

[Lupy]

Paul follows Tregatz.

[Quinsar]

He gets off and another of his kind approaches him.
Gra hifu! Marue Gezlin!?
Gr yuuk kilo baru, Paul! Neco nico Levian!

[Lupy]

Paul bows uncertainly to the newcomer.

[Quinsar]

What you want... here, Paul?

[Lupy]

My cheif sent me to talk to your cheif.

[Quinsar]

Follow...
He begins to walk to a larger building, the town is strangely empty.


Gezlin is gatjering his bucket of fish.

[Lupy]

Where are your friends? Paul asks carefully.

[Quinsar]

Under...
He continues to lead.

[Lupy]

Paul nods.

[Quinsar]

He stands outside the large building.
Here chief....

[Lupy]

Paul walks in and sees:..?

[Quinsar]

A very large Triluane sitting in an room witha large curtain on one wall.
Yes...

[Lupy]

Paul bows, My name is Paul. My cheif Lupy sent me to talk to you.

[Quinsar]

Where do you come from? Who is your god?

[Quinsar]

Our god is the broken magpie...

The boy suddenly realises who the broken magpie is. He would be an honorable god. My god is the mighty dragon.

Levian grunts.

They lead him to the center of town, several of the creatures are dancing around a bonfire, a spit over it is cooking a ginat fish.

[Quinsar]

A camel runs towards the lake with a ninja on his back, he stops at the water's edge.

[Lupy]

Paul looks impressed at the spit roast. He also looks surprised at the sight of the camel.

[ThePhantom]

On the far side of the lake, a man in a mask appears.

[Leigh]

The ninja almost falls off of the camel, but regains his balance.

[Quinsar]

Paul won't be able to see the camel, the lake is too big.



They continue to cook and dance.




The camel licks the ninja.

[Lupy]

The young Paul is too busy staring at the ninja on the camel to notice the man in the mask.

Ninja'd

Paul says, Do I dance?

The man in the mask starts walking across the water toward the village.

[Lupy]

A fishing boat rows up next to the man in the mask.

The ninja scratches the camel happily behind the ears.

[Lupy]

Should I? Paul looks confused.

No, I'ld rather walk. The man in the mask is about halfway to the village.

[Lupy]

Paul decides to join in the dance, something he's not done in months. This is why he won't see the man in the mask.

[Quinsar]

The boat rows beside him.
You here... for... party?



the camel licks the ninja and begins to walk into the water.



Yes, dance...

[Leigh]

The ninja looks scared at first, but decides to give the camel benefit of the doubt.
And it pulls out a snorkel, just in case.

Sort of, I heard that they are a few people I want to meet that will be there. The man in the mask is three quaters of the way there.

[Lupy]

He keeps rowing.



The camel goes under, but floats high enough so that the ninja isn't under, he approaches the village.

[Leigh]

Ah, so basically the top half of a ninja wearing a snorkel should be seen floating through the water toward the village, aye?

The man in the mask arrives in the village. He stands in near the edge of the firelight, watching the dancers.

[Quinsar]

They begin to serve food.

[ThePhantom]

I'll be back The man in the mask disappears.

The ninja plunges his head underwater to look at the camel like this - :smallcool:

The ninja and camel reach the village.

[Leigh]

The ninja "ooh's" softly at the scene before him, and pets the camel.

[Quinsar]

The camel gets onto a bridge.

[Leigh]

The ninja goes where the camel takes him.

The camel just lies down near the party. It's still raining here.

[Leigh]

The ninja reaches behind him, and out pops an umbrella. He puts it above himself and the camel.

[Quinsar]

The camel licks the ninja. One of the creatures offer the ninja some fish.

[Leigh]

The ninja pats the camel, examines the creature with the fish, and decides it's safe. He takes the fish, ninja-chops it in half, and gives half to the camel.

[Quinsar]

The camel happily eats. The creature speaks.
Nice... Camel...

[Leigh]

The ninja nods furiously. It tears a piece off of what's left of the fish and offers it to the creature.

[Quinsar]

The creature rejects it.
What... your name?

[Leigh]

The ninja shrugs. I am called Zippo. You? He finishes the fish.

[Quinsar]

My name is Dirshe...

[Leigh]

Zippo bows to Dirshe.

[Quinsar]

The party continues.

Dr.Rato is scanning the area looking for a large lake.
Ahh over there.
He then starts to walk in that direction. Followed by one of the triluanins.

He begins to swim to the village.

Stretching a bit with quit a few bones cracking he starts after him.

Whew I sure am getting a work out tonight.

Gringash reaches the village and pulls himself onto the surface.

After a few minutes he is followed by Dr.Rato.
Why didnt I just use my staff. he says to himself.

The party is still going on.
Come... Or we... Miss... party...

Dr.Rato seems to brighten up a bit.
Ooooh a party.
He follows skyfisher to said party.

One of the creatures offer Dr.Rato some fish.

Dr.Rato takes it.
O why thank you.
After enjoying the festivities Dr.Rato starts to leave.
Well this has been quit some fun but I must be getting back to the town.

Dr.Rato goes to the edge of the lake and pulls out his staff.
Hope this works.
He then uses the staff to polevault him over to the other side the staff growing to get to the edge.
On the other side he starts to walk back to the town using the staff as a walking stick.

[Quinsar]

The party ends, several Triluane go to hunt.

[Quinsar]

Areisha approaches the lake, hopefully the girl is following.

She's following.

She heads to the edge of the lake and whistles...

The girls waits, expecting the house to like, come up from the lake or something like that.

A Triluane paddled canoe is coming t'wards them...

So no magic flying house then.

Nope. Just a house in the Triluane village.

The girl follows Areisha quietly.

The canoe stops on a shore near them.



Get in.




A Triluane sits near the back of the canoe.

They begin to dock.

She leads her to a small hut. She begins to unlock the door.

A hut is definatly better than nothing, Lorith thinks.

She opens the door. It's full of the sun's light. There's a circular rug in the large circular room. On one wall is a bed. On the other wall is a desk. There are two door holes, one leading to a washroom, the other to a closet.

She smiles.

She attempts to smile back, looking more tired than anything else, but at least she tried.

They have nightly party/dinner in the center of town at sun set...

Lorith gets familiar with nthe hut, taking a little tour of it.

IT's pretty much empty except for the bathroom, the bed, and the table...

No matter. Lorith goes outside and sits down, leaving up against the side of the hut.

Several Triluane are walking around...

Lorith can't speak their language. She stands and goes for a walk, looking for somewhere to be alone.

Lorith was thinking more like a forest. And she doesn't know that.

The lake is in a middle of the forest. But this is just several floating platforms and buildings.

She shrugs and steps into the lake, testing it for temperature.

The water is warm.

[Raistlin1040]

She takes a breath and gets all the way in, treading water, looking fairly relaxed.

There are fish in the water...

Lorith swims around in the lake for a bit, relaxed. Suddenly, her eyes widen and she breaks out in cold sweat. She looks up at the sun. No...it can't be...it's still daytime. Her sky blue eyes intesify, and she screams loudly in pain.

[Quinsar]

A nearby Triluane fisherman begins to paddle t'wards her.

She seems to have lost conciousness, though she floats on the water.

[Quinsar]

It tries to pull her into the canoe...

She doesn't way much, so she's probably easily lifted.

[Quinsar]

The begin to padle back to the village.

[Raistlin1040]

Lorith is still out cold.

[Quinsar]

Deadtime. Sorry.

They try to carry her to a shaman...

She's very light, it's not hard to carry her at all. She seems to be running a fever, which can be felt all over her body.

The shaman gives her a pill designed to kill fever...

Her mouth won't open to let the pill in.

[Quinsar]

They run some smelling salts under her nose...

Her eyes flick open. They're yellow, and don't look entirely human.

She begins to shake, almost like she's having a seizure.

[Quinsar]

They watch, unsure of what to do.

[Raistlin1040]

She abruptly stops, not moving. Golden fur begins to cover her body, and her nose and mouth enlongate. Her hands and feet shift into clawed paws, and her ears move, to resemble that of a dog. She looks at the Triluane, wary.

She growls. It doesn't seem like an angry or unfriendly growl, just that it's her only means of communication.

You know, I should bring the Incubus back...

She stares back at them, appearing somewhat in control, but also on edge.

It should be noted that she looks a lot like herself, just furry with wolf ears, claws, and glowy eyes.

She growls at it, knocking it away with a paw.

The look on her face is very obviously craving red meat.

A Triluane runs out at another's command.

She swivels her head to the running Triluane, apparently deciding whether to eat him.

If she does nothing he'll be back with deer meat in a few minutes...

She doesn't do anything. However, when she sees the Dear meat she rips it apart, eating it quickly and messily.
