Well, after watching and reading the rather excellent anime/manga series Fate/Stay Night, I started wondering how Playgrounders would have mythological heroes duke em out with one another.
The rules are this: I will post two mythological heroes of old, and you, the posters, will decide who will win. This isn't a battle according to Fate/Stay Night rules, so try to use your imagination and knowledge and enjoy yourselves! Assume that all battlefields are a flat, grassy plain near a large, Caspian Sea-sized body of fresh, cool water. Weather is sunny, but not too bright or too hot. All heroes (and heroines!) have been fully rested, healed, and at the peak of their power (that is, if a posted mythological hero got nerfed by the time of his/her death, assume that the posted version of that hero was at his/her peak).
So...round 1:
Cuchulainn vs Gilgamesh
The Irish Achilles vs the legendary King of Mesopotamia! One's half-divine, the other is "two parts divine". Who will win? Assume that Cuchulainn has his Gae Bolg.
