I think I've been playing the board game of Blood Bowl for about a decade, I thought that Chaos League was an extremely worthy 'spiritual' conversion to gaming (legal issues aside...) but also that this particular version looks brilliant, and I can't wait to play it.

Anyone else familiar with the board game? It's really one of my favourite ways to kill an hour when I get the rare opportunity, and I genuinely hope that the video game leads to a rerelease of the original in some form. :smallbiggrin:

i played the board game a few times, good fun.
now i noticed a topic about blood bowl gething more etention soon, some press release on the GW site. this must the part of it. anyhow its the start of more atention for the specialist games, so thats more mordheim and BFG as wel, and i do play the first and am starting on the second. yay, this does seem like a real deal of more atention.

You guys familiar with FUMBBL (http://fumbbl.com/index.php)? It's a Blood Bowl league played via the interblags using a Java-based client that follows the tabletop rules pretty much to a letter. It's a lot of fun.
