Okay, I read the pixie to whatever rules when i signed up, but nowhere did I read about Bugbear and other stuff like that. Is a Bugbear bigger or smaller than a dwarf? I just don't know!

This is getting ridiculous.

Can we end the confusion and just make up our own titles like some other boards allow? Please?

We're not supposed to speak of this...

Titles what titles? There are no titles here. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ElephantInTheLivingRoom)

I just don't know! The FAQ is outdated in this regard. There have been several new ranks introduced, and the number of posts required to reach the respective ranks is not what the FAQ says it is either.

The ranks are just for fun and have no importance; everyone's word is of equal importance, no matter whether Pixie or Titan. For the same reason, the forum rules do not want us to discuss ranks or the post counts required to reach them.

Who cares? Being a newcomer doesn't mean the person hasn't been reading the comic since the begining, or lurking on the forums.

Because people would start posting spam just to get their post count up to get a new level. That is why we dont discuss it...

If you'll notice, there's a post in the Board/Site Issues forum that's specifically called User Titles and Post Counts (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45659). It has all the info you need/want.
