The site is real, that or they don't tell you it's a joke until after the order process (I didn't buy one, but did go to the checkout to better check to see if it was real).

That being said, "The Donald" does look the most natural. I went bald twice as an infant, so I can see where some people may freak out and buy wigs for their kids if that happens. My parents just did the smart thing and laugh about me looking like Willard Scott :smalltongue:

The about site could be the actual creators, but with baby pictures to make it cute.

What really pins it down for me is that only one of the charities of the charity page link somewhere. The other two show a 404 with this url

or this

Mundane bizarreness is one thing. Something someone does more or less purely for attention is another. Sorta like what's -really- scarier, Brave New World or the witch from Hansel and Gretel.

Just because someone's able to make money from a joke in no way stops it being a joke.

As the previously mentioned DVD Rewinders example neatly illustrates, gag gifts do make money, and even the dumbest-sounding gifts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pet_rock) can and often do sell.
