The troodontids are closely related the the dromaeosaurids (raptors). They belong to the same infraorder, deinonychosauria, which is named after a member of the latter group called deinonychus.

Troodontids were smaller, more intelligent, and had more dextrous hands than the dromaeosaurids. Like their relatives, the troodontids had a large sickle-shaped claw on the middle toe of their hind limbs. However, the "killer claw" was smaller and less recurved in the troodontids, and some species probably couldn't hold it off of the ground.

They ranged from two feet (55cm) to ten feet (3 meters) and weighed in at a maximum of about 120lbs (54 kilograms). They were mostly omnivorous and could be found pretty much all over the world.

Yeah. On the class and subclass, I think you should be able to play whatever, but there should be some sub-varieties native to certain areas. So, I don't think it should restrict what you can take, but I think sub-classes (or just a sub-set of abilities) could be fun.

Also, don't forget Cowboys.

Edit: Made a slight change to my ballet. Also, on second thought, I think Troodontoids for PCs, T-rexes for enemies.

Thanks, I didn't know what those where and on Wikipedia the image was a bit lame, so I voted "raptors" in the case they were different. Since I suppose the real question was "big dino or small dino" my answer must be counted as Trodonto-whatever.
I guess I lost some geek points for not knowing this one... :smallsigh:

One other thing: are we doing Vikings as a kind of pirate or as a "race" or as a separate class?
