attempt to trip him if he speaks

He won't know the trigger of a readied action, just that I readied it, right?

Turn over once this is answered, doesn't matter too much.

Correct, your opponent can see that you readied an action but doesn't know what the action or the trigger is.

Weird fact: refs tend to check out characters that have incomplete char sheets...my bard does not have any spells written on his spell list...:confused:

Will save if that fails to stop you from speaking for some reason (unconscious, maybe being prone prevents it?): [roll5]

Of course we don't really need to fight. I didn't intend to permanently hurt you! But this is an arena, we're supposed to fight. I just don't feel it.

EDIT: I don't think this will be a problem, but I will be away for the next 5 days. I should be able to get internet, so I probably won't miss anything. In case I do, this is why.

Sorry, one point short. Unless I wasn't hostile even though I was actively attacking you.

Also, don't you actually need to say something since what you say can apply bonuses/penalties? And I'm not an NPC, so those charts technically don't apply to me...maybe...diplomacy is a suckily written skill

You know what? Refs please. How does diplomacy work in the Arena?

EDIT: I'm waiting on ref discussions to finish up on the use of diplomacy in the arena. Well, you can't use it, but I've taken the liberty of asking them what's to become of Hippie.
