Is anyone else here an Amateur Radio Operator? I tried searching for it but didn't find any posts about it, so either no one else is (which I suppose is possible) or no one else thought to mention it. So I'm starting one now!
I'm an Extra, but I don't really count it because I got my Extra when they changed the rules. I got my General under the old rules, including the 13wpm Morse Code exam, so I'm proud of that. I was 13 years old at the time, too.
It was my dad who pushed me to get my license. He's also an Extra, but got it the old school way. Same with mom, I think.
Sadly, I don't operate much.
