Personally, I love animals. I have two lovely kitties, but I am interested to know of the other animals that roam the Playground. What pets do YOU have?

My family has bought a dog recently, namely a 3,5 months old German Pointer Breed. I objected to this, but now I have to say that he's nice, even if there's a bit of trouble with him. I'd post pictures if I had any.

I also love animals, except for earwigs. They are my arch enemies! I have a 1½-year old birman cat named Felix.

About 2 years ago, my family bought a dog, Named "Fluffy" who is the biggest dog I've seen ion my life... she is 3/4 poodle, and 1/4 lab... Its called a Labradoodle (which rolls off the tounge )

I also have a tabby named howie who is... muscular... I never thought a cat could be muscular, but his shoulder blades are poppin out of his back...

I also have 2 pet ferrets, named Achilles, and Peeves  (PEeves? Pet Peeves?)

Currently my family owns three puppies, a cat, a guinea pig and chickens.

At least the puppies aren't bent on eating the cat. :smalltongue:

My family has the most beautiful calico cat I've ever seen. She's a lot sweeter now than she used to be - she was found as a kitten in a dumpster and passed to my brother and then on to my parents, so she was a hardcore street cat. But I rarely get bitten or scratched now.

Hmmm...
I currently have an old and toothless Silver Shadow Persian Cat called Ricco (not my decision. Was named like that by the breeder, before he decided the cat didn't look good enough)
Then two rats.
I used to tons of guinea pigs over the years when I was younger, but that's over now.

One spastic miniature Schnauzer that rocks your socks. We had an Indian Ring-Necked Green Parrot that wanted to take over the world by killing everything in its sight, but we gave that demented thing to someone else. (I feel sorry for the recipient.)

Too bad, because before, way back when I was little, I had the most awesome cockatiel ever. :smallfrown:

I love cats, I have three of them currently - Quince, Goldy, and Abby. Quince is a stray who we brought in, Goldy is a Gold Ocecat and Abby is a Norwegian Forest Cat. Four other cats have passed on in my lifetime, Quooter, Tri, Hi and Yi - they were all strays.

Gwah! Demon pets! j/k

I got 3 cats.

One is 55% black 45% white named Kenny. The oldest of our cats he pretty much doesn't give a crap about anything.

The other is about 65% Black and 35% white. She's pretty much the size of a basketball at this point and going bald.

My last cat is almost pure black except for 6 or 7 white hairs on his chest. He's named Beavis.

My kitten sleeps in the stupidest places. Like in flower pots, on my dad's head, in the middle of the kitchen, on the stairs, the list goes on. Is my poor little kitten alone with this habit?

Nope. My cat will sprawl out in the middle of the floor, too. Or on the back of the couch, window sill, the book I'm trying to read...

The family cats, Porcia and Drache. They are Bengal cats, are are quite lovely. They do however hate to be picked up. Porcia is spotted, while Drache is marbled.

My own dog, Magnor. A Year and a half old Welsh Pembroke Corgi. Magnor is a tri color, being mostly black. He does have brow "eyebrows" and white "socks".

Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open draw, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.

We also have one black dwarf hamster, some sea monkeys and we did shelter some tadpoles for a while. They all turned into frogs and we released them back into the ditch. There were about 40 frogs by the time we were done.

We have a fell terrier, was sort of a souvenir from England. We stayed a week at a farm where they also happened to have a nest of puppies for sale, we could not resists the cuteness.
On a side note, I am not sure she is a dog tough, she makes various cat sounds all the time and sleeps on top of the back of the couch, stretched out like a cat. Another playgrounder was perfectly sure she is a gremlin rather then a dog/cat. She is getting quite old, with the accompanying general illnesses and a new puppy like behaviour. All very cute of course.

I've had 9 cats in my life, almost all named based on what they look like (were uncreative like that). we had Grey cat, White foot*, Pink nose and Brown nose* (Twins, they're noses eventually both went pink), supergnat, Cow, brown foot, Zokay, and Tiger*. the asterisks mark the ones we still have, and brown nose is now called Twin, because the other one is no longer with us.

I'll post pictures eventually.

I have two cats, Dexterity and Caspian. Dexy is a loveable rogue, whilst Cassie is an idiosyncratic lapcat. According to the rescue-cat lady I got them from, they're brothers, but I doubt it, seeing as Cassie looks exactly like a Russian blue, while Dexy is just an average (but exceedingly cute) tabby.

I love mah kitties. Will post pictures later.

I have 2 black cats that are brother and sister. I've had them for several years now and they are very affectionate. They beg me to pet them constantly each day. I've trained both of them to hop on the kitchen table to receive some attention whenever I go to the refrigerator to get something. Sometimes they just like to lie next to me for hours.

Also one horse, my baby: Twinks, 3 year old double-registered National Show Horse/Pinto, too gorgeous for words and my greatest pride and joy next to my actual kids. :smalltongue:

A Rhodesian ridgeback, 3rd in a line of ridgebacks, named Ralph.
An African Grey parrot named Cyrus, who can hold phone conversations with himself.
And I used to have 6 fish, but they all died. Several incarnations of them died. Then we gave up on fish completely.

My sister has a gecko named Torque.
My mom has a horse named Moonie.
And my father has a motorcycle named Bluzuki.

We have many pets. Too many, probably.

We have three cats. One of them, Edgar, is black and white with a sort-of batman mask. He smells funny, and is about as smart as a pile of bricks. He's also madly in love with me. Seriously. Like madly in love with me like a human might be. It's kind of scary.

We have a small grey cat named Maia who's a serious psycho-freah-show-of-doom. She loves my wife and sleeps on us every night. ON US. At least one of us. Every night. And she's mouthy. She never shuts up.

And we have a BIG FAT tabby cat who's about as interesting as paint. He's nice enough, but he's very bland. His name is PC, which stands for P*ssy Cat (you see how clever we are).

Here he is doing his Camoflauge Cat Routine:

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f85/truemane/pc-sized.jpg

We also have two rats. They are both very sweet, and very smart. They are named Willow and Little Mim. Mim spends a lot of time kicking it on my shoulders while I'm writing or cleaning or walking around. They never stand still long enough for me to get a picture, but here's the best I have:

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f85/truemane/rats-sized.jpg

AND we have a Lory. A Green Naped Lory named Mr. Fuzzy. He's supposed to be my son's bird, but because I'm the one who feeds him he thinks I'm his Daddy. Or his mate. Or his personal chef. Or whatever. He follows me around and squawks for me when I leave the room. When Mim the rat isn't on my shoulder, he usually is. He's a funny little guy. REALLY smart. He says his name, "up-up" and "come here" and does a few whistles and makes kissy noises.

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f85/truemane/bird-sized.jpg

He's actually a lot fatter now than he was when we took this picture. I don't think he could fly now even if his wings weren't clipped.

AND lastly but certainly not leastly, we have a brand new puppy named Molly. She's a real sweetheart. Eager to please. Friendly. Smart. She's going to be a really good dog. I'm a big fan of her radar-ears.

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f85/truemane/molly-sized.jpg

And that's it.

Ah, the great Fingerbane revealed!

I miss having dogs around, but the Lady is scared to death of them...all of them...without exception.

We'd get a cat, but stranding the poor thing in the apartment would drive it crazy...and there's only room for one crazy being in the apartment and I've filled that role quite well, thank you very much.

My mom has Gorden Setter named "Champion Robhill's Dances With Quail" (He just got his championship last week  Oh, and we call him Bear.)

I have a 3 year old Zebra Danio.

Then there is my budgerigar "Peregrin" (or "Pippin"), who is the biggest ham ever. He says my name sometimes, and hello, less often, and he whistles. He also does little flips on his ladder by going to the top rung and curving his body around the rung, grabbing on with his beak, and then pulling himself up. He also can play soccer by rolling a tiny whiffle ball between two pegs to score. He liks to stop me from doing it by pecking my hand and the ball indiscriminately when I get too close to his goal. :smalltongue:

Photos soon to come.

I know Ive posted on a thread like this but i dont think it was this one, hopefully...

I have three dogs and a cat. =]

My eldest dog is named Doll. She will be eleven in october. we had her since she was a puppy so yeah i was five. but she is getting old so shes very mellow and sweet

Then I have my dog Ashke, who will be two in september. So it seems like he was a puppy just yesterday! but he has a fear disorder and he'll attack anyone out of fear =/ so nobody can be around him and he limits who and when people can come over. he's also an arrogant little thing and he argues with me quite often
as a baby:

And then I have another dog turning two in september, Isis. she's really sweet but really jumpy and gets overly-excited. shes also very very pretty and her dad was like, an award-winning showdog.

oh okay so im in this one but you can ignore me lol. this was the summer before my sophomore year so i think i look kinda young

Let's see...

Past pets:
3 gold fish: goldy (who lived for 3-4 years and a won in a raffle), goldina, goldy again (who I believed to be the original even though I accidentally killed him while trying to scale my dresser, I thought he was a magic fish even though my parents told me they bought him) and kit-fisto. I also had what we called an algae eater named algae (al-gee ah) Hooray for originality.

2 Hamsters, Hamtaro (orange and white) and then a couple years after, a black bear named oreo, (white on the belly) they didn't live long, only a few weeks.

I had a cat named Needles that my uncle gave me (I hated that cat) who had three kittens, two females named Cuddles and I honestly can't remember the other's name and a male named fluffy, who I gave to my grandma and is now HUGE (not just fat but long too, like can reach the table long, also renamed trouble.)

I had to give away the mother and "kitten whose name escapes me" to the humane society, because it turned out I was allergic to cats, although I have no problems now. It was heartbreaking for a young child to give away his little friends, because my parents wouldn't let me have a dog.

Although I do now have 2 dogs a 3 year-old chihuahua mixed with something (rat terrier maybe? They told us he was purebred, at least we got him half price  ) and more recently a 4 month old (I think) purebred chihuahua. The male Frisco is tri colored and Daisy, the female is white with tan on her face and a few spots, including a diamond on her head.

Frisco reminds me of myself, and I've heard he looks like me. He's the one who is always barking at the mailman and goes after anyone he doesn't recognize, he's a bit of a loner but is very friendly when he gets to know you. He's always with my parents, and is now friends with Daisy.

Daisy is alot more friendly, but always does what Frisco does, she's hyper-active, even for a puppy and she likes messing with Frisco, enjoys nibbling ear-lobes. She's more of MY dog always following me and sitting in my lap as I type.
