Tempoary ban/closure

So I was wondering, being weak willed and about to start my A levels i know that I will end up spending too much time on here.

So my question is, for future reference, is it possible to have a mod ban/close your account for a period of time. For example could you request A mod to somehow prevent your account from posting (probably through banning/closing account) from the 4th of September to the 17th of December?

We don't have that finely grained control. But I can ban you (as a "Closed Account") for 3 or 4 months.
